The Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children exists to provide immediate and practical help to local children living with cancer and their families at a time of enormous stress. We operate a number of services that help the whole family enjoy their precious time together and help ease the emotional difficulties that cancer can bring. Our services cost just under £1million to run each year and we rely on donations from both the business sector and the general public. We are very proud that our administration costs are low and all the money we raise is spent in Northern Ireland on children with cancer and their families.

Yorkshire Cancer Research aims to expand the knowledge held about cancer in order to offer hope for the future of cancer sufferers.
The charity funds world renowned researchers investigating the cause and cure of cancer, in the region’s five centres of research excellence at the Universities of Bradford, Hull, Leeds, Sheffield and York.
Research is expensive. YCR only funds research of the highest quality, as reviewed by cancer experts around the world. Currently, we are only able to fund half of the top-rated projects that apply for funding. We’d like to fund them all.

Help fund a future without cancer
Cancer affects everyone. One person in three will suffer from the disease. Clatterbridge Cancer Campaign is fighting for a future free from Cancer.
The money we are raising in the campaign goes to help several areas of work, which will enable more people to recover from cancer. For instance, we are researching ways in which to identify exactly which genes are involved in particular cancers so that drugs can be more effectively used. Current research focuses on cancers of the breast and brain. The Centre for Oncology is one of the largest specialist cancer centres in the United Kingdom, providing radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments to a population of approximately 2.3 million in the North West and Isle of Man, and more than 8,000 new patients are seen every year.
Clatterbridge Cancer Campaign supports the Clinical Trials of new treatments designed to be more comfortable as well as to be more effective, and raises funds for creating the best possible environment for patients and visitors at the Centre and its grounds.

One in three
people will discover at some point in their lives that they have
cancer.
The Institute of

new strategies for its prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. Our
mission is the relief of human suffering by pursuing excellence in the
fight against cancer and we are one of the world's leading cancer
research organisations, internationally renowned for the quality of our

Everyman
is The Institute of Cancer Research's national campaign to raise
awareness and funding for testicular and prostate cancers. The facts
speak for themselves: one man dies every hour from prostate cancer in
the UK and testicular cancer has almost doubled in the last 20 years,
yet little is known about either of them. Research is
severely underfunded and we now need to raise £2 million every year to
carry out our work at the Everyman Centre, the only dedicated male
cancer research centre in Europe.
