multiple sclerosis in the world.
MS is the most common potentially
disabling neurological condition affecting young adults.
As a national organisation, the MS
Society Scotland provides a diverse range of services including respite
care and fully-adapted self-catering holiday accommodation; Helpline;
Grants for home adaptations and mobility aids; specialist nurses and a
wide range of information. The Society is also the largest funder of MS
Research in Scotland, with a current commitment of £1.6m.
Funding for all of the Society’s services
is met entirely by voluntary contributions.
