Centrepoint are dedicated to helping the most vulnerable teenagers
and young people in society, rough sleepers, care leavers, drug and
alcohol addicts, young pregnant women too scared to go home. Each
night, 500 of these people sleep safely in Centrepoint accommodation
and in the past
35 years, Centrepoint has handled some 75,000 calls for help.
But Centrepoint is more than just a bed for the night. We also
provide the one-to-one counselling, lifeskills training, education
advice and help in getting a job that young people want and need. We
give them the opportunities other take for granted; the opportunity
to become active, independent participants in society; the
opportunity to turn their lives around.
Help Centrepoint help homeless young people. Call Maggie Goodall on

Emmaus
Communities offer homeless people a home, work and the chance to regain
their self respect in a supportive, community environment.
Residents sign of primary benefits and work full time on the Community
business, renovating and re-selling donated furniture and goods.
Communities aim to become self-supporting through their business, with any
surplus used to help others in need.
Emmaus UK is part of an international Movement, which is more than 50 years
old and spans over 40 countries.
There are currently 11 Communities open in the UK, with several others in
development.

Nightstop UK believes that all young
people have the right to access safe, secure accommodation appropriate
to their needs. Our aim is to provide safe emergency accommodation (1-3
nights at a time) for homeless young people aged 16-25 in the homes of
approved volunteer hosts until appropriate permanent housing is
secured. This allows an often confused and vulnerable young person "to
take stock" without being labelled as "homeless".
This year, through our network of 44
local Nightstop schemes, we will provide: advice, support and guidance
to 4,000 young people; emergency accommodation for over 2,000 young
people; support and training for 1,000 local volunteers. We aim to
develop 5 new Nightstop schemes each year.
Whatever events you are involved in why
not support Nightstop UK and help young homeless people to get back on
their feet?

Alone In London, uniquely, has a twin
track response to homelessness. As well as providing practical and
emotional support to vulnerable young people who are either at risk of
becoming homeless or have run away from home, we are also engaged in a
range of outreach prevention programmes, in schools and with local
authorities.
“Alone In London is to be applauded for
its unique approach to working with vulnerable young people.
Participating, recently, in one of its school visits, it was clear from
the pupils’ animated response that its progressive Prevention of
Homelessness in Schools project is crucial to addressing the issues that
lead to homelessness” Juliet Marshall Director - Streetsmart
Alone In London has been established 32
years and, currently, over 5,000 young people benefit from its services.

Fighting for hope for homeless people
Crisis
is the national charity for solitary homeless people. We work year-round
to help vulnerable and marginalised people get through the crisis of
homelessness, fulfil their potential and transform their lives.
We develop innovative services, which
help homeless people rebuild their social and practical skills, join the
world of work and reintegrate into society. We also enable homeless
people to overcome acute problems such as addictions and mental health
problems.
Crisis relies almost
entirely on donations from non-government organisations and the public
to fund its vital work.

Crisis and we will support you all the way!
