Terrence Higgins Trust was formed in 1982, when Terry Higgins became one of the first people in the UK to die with AIDS.

We have been at the forefront of the fight against HIV and AIDS ever since and are now the leading UK charity in this field. Our mission is to reduce the spread of HIV, promote good sexual health and provide services which improve the health and quality of life of people affected by HIV. We also campaign for greater public and political understanding of the personal, social and medical impact of HIV and AIDS.

'DHIVERSE was set up in 1986 by a group of friends concerned about the growing impact of HIV and AIDS. Since then the organisation has grown and developed into a vibrant charity that seeks to prevent HIV, promote sexual health for all, challenge stigma and discrimination through greater public awareness and support the growing number of people living with HIV and AIDS.

Our work is supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers working across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas. Your support is critical to winning the fight against HIV and sexual ill health. Last year more people than ever before were diagnosed HIV positive in the UK and the need for our innovative approach to prevention and support has never been greater'
